Keeping Florals Classy

Right now floral patterns are EVERYWHERE!  While we’re both really into florals, we both believe that there are good floral patterns and then there are AWFUL floral patterns. To rock a top-notch floral, I (Ashley) styled this gorgeous Yumi wrap dress for a day of meetings at Aroma Cafe in Studio City.

There’s something about a wrap dress that fits perfectly on my body type.  They make me look slim, but leave me with a little bit of a shape.  I loved borrowing this Yumi Floral Print Wrap Dress from Le Tote!  The silky jersey material is super soft and the length falls in the perfect place.  The dress is versatile enough to wear into the office, to bridal/baby showers or just out on the town.  They best part is this awesome piece is under $34.  That’s a steal!

Since this floral pattern was so loud I thought it would be best to style it with these simple yet classy pair of Michael Kors Ashby Flex Pumps.  These heels have been one of the best purchases I have ever made.  I’m able to pair them with denim, casual dresses, all the way to dresses I’ve worn to weddings.

For my accessories, I went with a black Jessica Simpson Lilia Top Zip Crossbody Bag.  This bag was also a piece from my Le Tote and I used it every single day that I had it.  I was able to tote it during the day while running errands and out on the town grabbing drinks with my friends.  The simple chain detail makes the piece stand out a bit without being too aggressive.

Lastly, I chose my these stunning Kendra Scott Earrings and this lovely Chan Luu bracelet.  I’ve been on a big bracelet kick lately.  I’ve been searching to find dainty pieces that fit my tiny wrist.  This Chan Luu Pave Pearl bracelet was gorgeous and stretchy, so it fit my wrist perfectly.  These Kendra Scott Bexley Statement Drop Earrings were a granted wish from our March Rocksbox.  They provided the perfect amount of color to tie in the entire look.  They’re also 14 karat gold plated and just stunning to look at.

We want to encourage you to try the floral pattern trend. Beans Style Tip: Just know that no matter what “trend” you want to try, bring a little bit of you to it.

  1. I love florals so much. I would literally wear them all year round. And the wrap style looks so good on you. From my experience they’re also very comfortable to wear!

  2. Wow, those earrings are stunning. I always seem to be drawn to wrap dress too! I’ll have to check out Le Tote!

    1. I usually don’t love bright florals. The navy really gave me the guts to try it.
