Travel New York City

I lived in NYC and I miss it everyday! My favorite time to go back to visit is right before the holidays. It is SO MAGICAL!

The first highlight of our New York City trip, was our amazing hotel! We stayed at the New York Edition, and it was absolutely wonderful. It is in the old clocktower building in the flatiron district right on Madison Square Park. I used to live in Chelsea, so it was great to stay so close to all my old favorite spots!

I adore this location because it is away from the chaos of Times Square but still close enough to walk everywhere you need to be!

Things you can’t miss in the flatiron:

  • Eataly- The amazing Italian market
  • Shake shack- The only outdoor shake shack
  • Madison square park
  • Union Sqare park- Just a few blocks down
  • And walk west to get to the amazing Highline!

The view from our hotel room at night:

We loved the modern decor of the rooms and the bed was SO comfy!

It was so nice to enjoy hot chocolate in the beautiful lounge after the cold! Check out that amazing staircase!

I got to see 2 shows while I was there, The Color Purple and Waitress. They were both incredible, I only wish I had time to see more!

Everything was decked out for the holidays, This is Chelsea Market another spot you can’t miss!

On my last day I got to meet up with co-founder Ashley! We enjoyed looking at the amazing christmas window displays!

For my last brunch I went to an old favorite, Sarabeth’s. They are all over the city now but my favorite is the one on the upper east side because they sell all their cookies there! you can also find their bakery in Chelsea Market. We picked up my favorite cookies (the cubbies) there!

When in NYC you MUST have pizza! We went to Patzeria Family and Friends. We shared a big pizza and each picked a topping!

Another spot you can’t miss is Teuscher Chocolates of Switzerland, right next to Rockefeller center!

We can’t wait to go back to New York City, there is never enough time to explore a city with so much to offer!
