We both usually have a thing for colored and patterned pieces. But, today we decided to be a little more classy and style an all black everything look. Well not exactly all black! We wanted to show you how you can have a simple outfit and pair it with
some awesome statement shoes!
One of our favorite thing about the Holidays is that we get to go to tons of different types of events. This winter we are headed to NYC to see some shows on Broadway. We thought, what better way to prepare for a night in the Big Apple than to go see a show at the beautiful Pantages Theater in Los Angeles. We we nabbed tix to Hedwig and the Angry Inch. The show is absolutely amazing! If you have a chance to see it while you’re in LA, do it!
Here are our looks from the evening.
Ashley’s look is from one of our new favorite boutiques in Los Angeles, William B + Friends. Ashley really wanted to spend the night on the town in something that was extremely comfortable, but still sexy. She chose to wear these high waisted bell bottomed pants and a tight cutout top. She added the belt to give her waist a little more definition. It’s always fun to pair simple looks with a statement piece and these shoes definitely shine as a statement piece for this look. These are Ashley’s blue velvet Louboutins from her most recent trip to Paris. Sometimes shoes are worth the splurge!

Amy’s dress is also from a favorite local LA boutique, Hardware on Larchmont. Amy Paired a very fitted sexy black dress with a more sophisticated, tailored blazer. We love the different textures of these pieces (suede and linen); an unexpected combination. The maroon shoes add color and give the outfit a fun twist.
