We spend so much on store bought face masks to improve our skin, while sitting in our kitchen is everything we need for a luxury homemade face mask! Lately I have been more and more conscious of what is in the beauty products I buy. A lot of times they are mostly good, natural, organic ingredients but then there is one ingredient in there that I don’t want to put on my skin (the largest organ in my body)!
My mom said she used to go to an expert esthetician in Chicago when she was young and broke, who told her about the amazing benefits of ingredients we have right under our noses! I was really surprised about the results from the brewers yeast and the yogurt worked amazingly as well, but I had tried yogurt masks before! There are so many things you can switch out for your own skin problems, like lemon or strawberry for brightening!

Benefits of Yogurt for your Skin: It is packed with vitamins and minerals which hydrate, heal, and protect your skin. Yogurt also treats acne with it’s anti-bacterial properties and acne killing acids.
Honey softens, protects and reduces fine lines.
Oatmeal is a great gentle exfoliant to remove dead skin and oil and sebum.
