Palm Springs: Poolside Piña Coladas

We at Three Pretty Beans love exploring!  We try to take any opportunity we get to head out of Los Angeles and experience a new place.  While Palm Springs isn’t a “new” place to visit, it is one of my favorite towns in California.  The throwback city has a 1950s charm and a view that is truly breathtaking.

Usually the hubs and I stay at the Ace, but we’ve been hearing tons of amazing things about the new V hotel.  It’s currently undergoing a 50 million dollar renovation and it is gorgeous!  (See picture above & below).  The hotel provides the same laid back pool environment as the Ace, but with larger, more comfortable chairs and delicious poolside food and cocktails.  Stand out dishes for me are the guacamole with plantain chips & the lobster avocado toast.

We made a stop at the Moorten Botanical Garden, a historical landmark from the 1930s.

On our way out of PS, we enjoyed brunch at the Farm, a new indoor/outdoor French inspired restaurant. Their food was reminiscent of our Parisian honeymoon, and may I say that the baked brie plate was to die for.
