A couple of weeks ago, I started the process of cleaning out my closet. I usually do this twice a year, getting rid of a couple of things. But, this year I did something a little different.
I tried on every single piece of clothing that I own and if I could make it work I kept it, if not I put it in my donation pile. This was a little time consuming, but it felt great getting rid of so many things.
Spring cleaning is an essential key to a happy and healthy lifestyle.
1. It is good for you to take what you don’t use and give it to someone who can use it.
2. It clears up clutter in your closet and it makes your space a little easier to navigate through.
3. You also make room for some new items!
I do think it’s important to treat yourself to some new items every season. I don’t think you need to buy a ton of new things. Remember quality over quantity.
When you are shopping try to think about purchasing a sustainable product. What does that mean? That means a product that you are going to wear at least 30 times. That’s a good investment and it’s okay to splurge. Here are some pieces you definitely need to have in your closet.
