Why We’re Crushing on Daniela: 

Daniela is currently finishing up her degree in Kinesiology with a focus in Dance. While working hard to finish school she has gotten certified as a Yoga Instructor and she has realized her passion for nutrition. Daniela’s biggest road block is wanting to do too much, but she actually finds a way to do it all!

We love that Daniela finds what truly makes her happy and makes it a career! Isn’t that what we all dream of? Daniela’s happiness shines through while she is dancing or doing her favorite yoga pose whether it is onstage or in the woods!

We also love that Daniela fights for the things she believes in politically and socially, with the same passion that she changes lives with, in the fitness and nutrition world.

We sat down with Daniela to find out her secrets to a healthy and happy lifestyle! 

What type of activities do you do to stay fit?

Yoga, dance parties, pilates, hiking, biking, and playing with puppies!

What do you think is the key to a healthy lifestyle?

Balance!

What’s your favorite asset?

My size! I like to think of myself as fun sized !

What is your LEAST favorite workout? But why do you still do it?

I don’t really like running. Who am I running from? Where am I running to? I like movement to have serve a purpose lol. However I can appreciate its importance for building the cardiorespiratory endurance needed for other things I love to do!.

If you had to choose any healthy meal or snack what would it be?

I have been super obsessed with chia pudding lately! Cinnamon chia pudding with homemade nut milk an fresh fruit…YUM

We all have cheat days, what’s your poison?

Ice cream…I can’t have it in the house.

What inspires you to be healthy and active?

I have watched many people I love leave this world too early. I come from a family of heart disease, diabetes, and mental health issues. I truly believe that food has the power to heal and that an active healthy lifestyle is the secret to a long and fruitful life.

If you could give girls any advice about loving their bodies what would you say?

The body is beautiful, strong, and resilient. It allows us to breathe, walk, dance, and love. Think of all the incredible things your body is doing for you this very moment, how could you not love it!

Daniela’s Recipe for Double Chocolate Mint “Ice Cream”

Just blend frozen bananas with mint leaves, cacao powder and vanilla until smooth and creamy! Freeze for a healthy treat anytime!

Daniela loves this recipe because it actually scoops like ice cream. YUM!
