Why we are crushing on Tiffany Phillips…
I have been one of the lucky ones. I’ve have been able to work on a project with this beautiful, talented & funny lady, Tiffany Phillips. You can currently catch Tiffany on everyone’s favorite show, Scandal. Not only is she an actress, she is a host (The Daily Share) & she is just SO funny. I think I said that before! For Halloween she was pregnant Kim Kardashian, and it was EPIC!
Tiffany is absolutely GORGEOUS inside & out. She is one of the most positive human beings around. I think it is her joyous positivity that makes her energy so electric. She is just the true definition of joy. I am so happy and honored that we are able to feature her as our WCW this week. Check out our interview with her below. It will make you smile. What type of activities do you do to stay fit? I’ve never really been a “gym” person. Running on a treadmill to me was just laborious and boring. I need to be immersed in an energetic, motivating, group exercise environment. So I take a lot of different classes at one studio, “Booty Works Fitness” in Studio City. It’s my dream come true. All Classes!! And all different, each with something awesome to offer. There’s nothing like the comradery you feel with people after you’ve just finished a hard-core aerobic workout. It’s like a community and I always leave feeling so exhilarated and happy.
What do you think is the key to a healthy lifestyle? Aside from the obvious eat right/workout; I think the key to a healthy lifestyle is a positive mindset. Your outer world is a reflection of your inner world and when you’re feeling good, you WANT to take care of yourself.
What’s your favorite asset? My heart. It’s what drives me, motivates me, keeps me going through a challenging workout.

What is your LEAST favorite workout? I have to say, I’m not a big fan of sit ups or Yoga. I can do squats all day long but Ab workouts always kill me! Which is ironic cause my abs are probably my favorite body part. Yoga just isn’t fast paced and stimulating enough for me but I’ve gotten much better at it with the help of an amazing class created by my dear friend Sydney Benner called “Flight.” Flight and Sydney have played a huge role in my fitness life. Flight infuses cardio, EDM dance, sculpting and Yoga and through this class, I’ve found that I might be better at Yoga than I thought….and I might even like it a little bit. ?
But why do you still do it? I can’t neglect my abs and the more I do it, the stronger I’ll get. As far as Yoga, I know how flexibility is beneficial to a healthy body. I’m the type of person who some may say “needs” Yoga to calm my ever racing mind. Sometimes the things we may abhor are the things we should be doing the most.
If you had to choose any healthy meal or snack what would it be? I like to make homemade kale chips. Toss them in a little olive oil, add salt, pepper and bake on a cookie sheet till they’re crispy. Much better than potato chips. ?
We all have cheat days, what’s your poison? French Fries! If I could eat French Fries everyday I would but obviously, I cannot.
What inspires you to be healthy and active? My mom! My mom is 70 years old and looks 50 because she takes such good care of herself. She’s vibrant, healthy, active and that’s exactly how I want to be at 70. She’s evidence that age IS just a number and I intend on being “young” for the rest of my life.
What is your best beauty secret? Besides lots and lots of laughter? I’m a big fan of Aloe Vera juice. I drink a bottle everyday. It’s so good for your skin, digestive system and immunity. They also come in many different flavors. My favorite is a Watermelon Aloe Vera juice from Whole Foods.
If you could give girls any advice about loving their bodies what would you say?
My advice would be; don’t compare yourself to other people. I used to do that a lot when I was younger, whether it was a celebrity in a magazine or someone at school. I always wanted what I THOUGHT I didn’t have. Please know that you are not lacking anything. You are beautiful, unique and whole just as you are. The girls you see on TV or on magazine covers have the same insecurities as you and most of the images you see are photo shopped or airbrushed. Don’t be fooled. No one is perfect and that’s what makes you beautiful. Embrace every part of you, even the parts you don’t like (cause we all have them) and when you do, watch out cause the whole world will follow suit.
