Wine is important for your diet

Red wine is good for you. Seriously! It’s something you should definitely consider adding to your diet daily.  The recommended dosage is one glass of wine a day for women and two glasses for men.  Doctors say this change in your diet can provide extreme health benefits.


The Benefits of a Glass of Red Wine:

  1. ANTIOXIDANTS- The process of fermentation in making red wine involves using the entire grape, including the grape skin. The components of the fruit provide antioxidants that are important in helping the anti aging process. This has been proven as a medical fact.  Antioxidants are also used as a dietary supplement. They are said to be preventative measures for certain cancers and illnesses.

2.  STRESS FREE- Another benefit from drinking wine is that it’s a stress reliever.      Drinking red wine can help calm you after a long day. It can also help mange             your  cholesterol.

Remember, though one glass a day is good for you, drinking more than that daily will provide the opposite benefits.

This also only pertains to red wine. White wine is extremely high in sugar and doesn’t provide the healthy benefits red wine does due to the process used to make it.

My favorite wine is Bianchi Zinfandel. 

This is my favorite winery out of Paso Robles. The winemaker is phenomenal.
